GTA 6 won’t start or download — quick fixes

  1. Check the status pages above. If PSN or Xbox network is degraded, waiting is the only fix.
  2. Check free space. Download size: Up to 212 GB. Consoles also need extra space while installing.
  3. Make sure the game is fully installed. A preloaded game unlocks only at release time (Not announced yet).
  4. Check your license. If you bought a digital copy, confirm it shows in your library on the same account.
  5. Install the latest update for the game and your console system software.
  6. Restart the console completely (full power cycle, not rest mode) and your router.
